The Soccer History USA podcast will begin publishing new episodes in April 2015. Instead of focusing on distinct topics in the history of the sport the show will instead be organized as a podcast series centered on a particular theme. The first American Soccer League (ASL) will be the focus of the series. The shows will offer a look at the interesting topics, personalities and matches that played out over the ten years of the ASL’s existence (1921-1931). I plan to cover each season with four separate podcasts. Period music, news headlines and sponsors will supplement the narrative of events. I hope that you find the re-launched podcast both informative and entertaining.
